CRM/Email Marketing Manager Barcelona

 

 

 The Role

 

We are currently seeking a proactive CRM and Email Marketing Manager to take ownership of our client's global strategy over different international markets.

In collaboration with the Country Managers, you will be in charge of designing effective CRM strategies and overseeing the launch of Email Marketing campaigns to segmented audiences over the UK, Spain, Italy and DACH markets.

This is a role that requires strong initiative and lateral-thinking in order to deliver highly targeted Email campaigns to maximise eCommerce ROI, prevent churn and increase Customer Lifetime Value.

Based in Barcelona, our client is a key player in Ecommerce for the retail industry, with extensive operations worldwide.

 

Your mission

 

Target Audience Analysis

  • Analyse and segment the customer database to identify the target audience of each of the campaigns
  • Analyse website conversion rates and best-selling products history to shape data driven email marketing strategies


Definition and Planning

  • Planning the communication strategy based on customer segmentation and lifecycle
  • Defining Emailing strategies for each market, taking into account specific market/product seasonality and dynamics.
  • Designing direct email marketing campaigns.
  • Development of Acquistion and Retention programmes to increase the target audience database
  • Defining push marketing strategies (SMS, browser alerts, pop-ups, etc.)
  • Planning emailing tactics to reduce cart-abandonment
  • Defining effective cross-sales email marketing strategies
  • Planning communication strategies for churn reduction (customer feedback, surveys, loyalty discounts, etc.)
  • Defining email marketing workflows through automation tools and CRM
  • Define email retargeting strategy based on on-site user behaviour


Execution

  • Launch of periodic Email campaigns across different markets
  • Coordinating with content producers from different markets for email writing and design
  • Implementation of "drip marketing" campaigns through email marketing automation and CRM workflows
  • Testing of email design across different browsers and screen resolutions
  • A/B testing of email templates, product pictures and Newsletter titles


Campaigns Analysis

  • Analysis of campaigns CTR, conversion rates.
  • Analysis of email marketing ROI, effort versus results.

Requirements

 

  • Master’s graduate (MSc/MA) in marketing or any related field.
  • Prior experience in a similar role and industry.
  • Motivated self-starter with the ability to take initiative and work with little supervision.
  • Able to work in a cross-functional environment, receiving input from different sources.
  • Experience designing a CRM Marketing strategy from scratch, and coordinating the team in charge of its implementation
  • Highly analytical, able to extract and interpret information from large data sets in a meaningful way
  • Great attention to detail, able to deliver under pressure
  • Knowledge of Marketing Automation software such as HubSpot, MailChimp, Vtiger CRM.
  • Able to present meaningful data to top management in a clear and concise way through Excel, Tableau and other data visualisation tools.
  • Knowledge of Shopify, Magento and other e-commerce platforms an advantage.
  • High level of English, knowledge of a second language such as Spanish, Italian or German valuable.
