Head of Solutions Marketing Madrid



 The Role


Our client, a global tech provider in the travel and airlines industry, is seeking a Head of Solutions Marketing to build and empower their B2B Solutions Marketing team. Reporting to the SVP Global Marketing, the role's main focus consists in translating our client's solutions benefits into an effective Content Marketing strategy that will increase brand positionning among customers and deliver high revenue.

The Solutions Marketing team will work closely with other departments to develop customer-centric communication that differentiates our client's offer, ensuring the successful delivery of go to market plans through inbound and outbound content strategies (white papers, video, blogging,...), salesforce enabling.



Your mission



  • Outline customer's Buyer personas and gather insights into their needs, customer journey, pain points and competitors.
  • Create compelling stories through highly targeted Content Marketing messaging that sets our client apart from the competition.
  • Design and implement go to market strategies and campaigns to be executed globally.
  • Educate both internal and external stakeholders along with the product team to enable sales and adoption of our client's technological solutions.
  • Manage the creation of compelling content (whitepapers, sales documentation, product videos, website copy, blog posts, etc.) to articulate the sales strategy and build customer engagement.
  • Liaise with Field Marketing and Sales departments to ensure campaigns are executed following the highest standards, delivering the right message to the right audience.
  • Apply data-driven decisions to move the team and product forward and hit quarterly targets.
  • Optimize Marketing budget through thorough planning and constant review to improve ROI
  • Follow procurement and finance processes as required

Team Management

  • Build and lead a team of best in class Solutions Marketing Managers to work in concert with the Business Lines
  • Define processes and tools that will assure a high standard of planning, quality marketing deliverables across Business Lines, and excellent communication within the organization
  • Create an environment that encourages enthusiasm, proactiveness, teamwork, continuous development and employee engagement



  • Relevant Marketing or Business Bachelor´s degree or higher
  • At least 3 years’ experience managing a team with 3 or more direct reports
  • Proven experience developing customer focused Value Propositions for B2B marketing of IT solutions
  • Proven experience designing successful Go To Market plans that are sales driven
  • Track record of building strong engagement and communication channels with Product teams
  • Highly fluent English spoken and written
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong business acumen
  • Airline IT specific experience desirable
  • Inbound Marketing and ABM a plus
  • Goals oriented – ability to build a plan and follow through
  • Can-do attitude
  • Strong engagement and communication with team and peers
  • Customer focused
