Paid Social Strategist Barcelona


The Role


We are currently seeking an ambitious Paid Social Strategist for the continued growth of our client's ecommerce Paid Acquisition Strategy on both domestic and international markets. In this role, you will be responsible for the creation and management of Paid Media Campaigns on all major Social networks. In order to succeed in this position, you need to have a highly analytical mind used to thriving in a data-driven environment, as well as a deep knowledge of the latest Paid Performance tactics and trends in Social Media.

Based in Barcelona, our client is a key player in eCommerce for the retail industry, with extensive operations worldwide.


Your mission

  • Personally manage all aspects of Paid Social channels to acquire new customers on different eCommerce verticals.
  • Implement and manage our client's global Paid Social strategy on social media platforms such as Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, Youtube, and more
  • Liaise with Country Managers in order to launch Paid Social campaigns targeting different markets/languages.
  • Identify opportunities to improve campaign performance, including analysis on creative and placement performance
  • Design and execution of A/B tests for Social Ad Copy and segmented audiences
  • Hands-on bid optimization to meet and exceed volume and ROI targets
  • Work with marketing & customer data in doing data analytics and validation.
  • Present results in a clear and meaningful way through monthly reports for Campaign performance and ROI



  • Prior experience managing multi-product Paid Social campaigns, ideally in an eCommerce environment.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills in order to effectively communicate Paid Social Media projects and to work with cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency in Facebook Business Manager desirable. Experience with other paid social platforms is also recommended (Instagram, Pinterest, Youtube, etc.).
  • Master’s graduate (MSc/MA) in business engineering, Data Analysis or any related field.
  • Data enthusiast, proficient with Excel and other data management tools.
  • Motivated self-starter with the ability to work with little supervision.
  • Demonstrated experience succeeding in a high-pressure environment with tight deadlines and competing priorities
  • Able to present meaningful data to stakeholders in a clear and concise way through Excel, Tableau and other data visualisation tools.
  • Knowledge of Shopify, Magento and other eCommerce platforms an advantage.
  • Fluency in English and a second language desirable.
